“ Love to come to Lulu's whenever we're in Waikiki - because we get to have great servers like Gloria and Conner - and esp Cat! *meow* Not only is the staff excellent but also the food is great and the ambiance is wonderful. We love the fact that it's on the edge of the city and the 90-degree view is unobstructed by buildings. We'll be back! ”
“ Food, service, atmosphere and view of Waikiki Beach so good...we ate their three times during our stay. Love Lulu's! ”
“ Right on Waikiki beach, so will have a good variety of tourists and locals for music nights. Was seated right in a front row stool and had great view of beach and was able to people watch from 2nd floor. Staff was friendly and helpful with menu suggestions and what to check out away from the tourist area. Loco moco was amazing! A must try. Beef patty was tender and made to medium well, was juicy and flavorful. The same with the Avocado Swiss burger. Great size and patty was tasty. ”
“ Fare of a quality completely unexpected from what looks like a tourist dive, everything we ate over several visits was tasty, generous of portion, and filling. From the spicy ahi to the pasta in vodka sauce, I'd recommend it all. Most unexpected of all are the Mahi-Mahi fish and chips, a worthy contender to London's Rock & Sole Plaice chippie I enjoyed a couple of months ago. MM puts cod and haddock to shame. Knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive staff, great live music, and a killer view round off a great time. ”
“ Lulus completely surprised me! I thought just a tourist spot with okay food. I was okay with this as I was tired from my flight and just wanting something quick. But the service was amazing and the kahlua pork sandwich slapped hard! It was absolute perfection. So insanely juicy and flavorful it was oozy!! ”
“ We went to Lulu's are first night in Honolulu. It is a bit touristy, it was covered open air, located on thr fringe of Waikiki and perfect. The menu is pretty large and is mostly Hawaiian or Hawaiian themed. Our food was very good and the service was also good. The fish was excellent. ”
“ We dined here twice during our week on Oahu. My boyfriend stated his omelette was one of the best he'd ever had, and my banana pancakes were delicious. The views of Waikiki beach and the parks were beautiful as you can imagine. Here I discovered the Maui brewing and Ola hard seltzers, all light, refreshing and low calorie. When we came for dinner we shared the shrimp pasta which sadly we enjoyed too much of before I remembered to take a photo of it! There was a live singer at dinner time who was awesome. Both times we came we noticed the staff made a point to let us know where the bathrooms and exits were before seating us, which we thought was nice since sometimes restrooms are hidden and you have to walk around like a lost puppy before someone helps you! ”
“ I was told whenever in Hawaii there are two things that are a must try. Honolulu cookies and loco moco. I never heard of loco moco but I try to try things that are well known to the local area. Of course I did a quick google to see exactly what loco moco was and I was like eh from the pics. I'm not a fan of sunny side up or over easy eggs however if that is how it's served then that's how I was going to try it. OHHHHHHH MYYY GOODNESS! I was on the phone with the food arrived and I had to stop mid conversation when I took the first bite! The patty was high quality and the gravy was perfectly seasoned. This dish was made with LOVE ya hear me?! The best way I can describe it was a high quality gourmet smothered salisbury steak. The egg blends in well with the dish and the rice soaks up all the flavor from the wagyu patty and gravy. The caramelized onions are a pleasant treat swimming in the gravy. It's called the Lulu moco because they added their own spin to it and added some kind of shredded pork to it. It was a nice contrast to the patty and gave more to be proud of! I cleaned that plate! I wanted more when I was done but my plan was to get an açaí bowl when I left, luckily for me, they had one on the menu. A one stop shop! I ordered it and it was amazing! Beautifully served sitting on top of a cut pineapple. I ALMOST didn't want to eat it but I'm me... of course I was going to demolish it! Demolish it I did! Lulu's will be a staple in any future Honolulu visit! I am a believer! ”
“ Right next to our hotel and above Starbucks and ABC is Lulu's, a dog-loving and friendly place. Great for ocean-front view and people watching if you sit on the rail. We got a deal through the Park Shore for discounts here so we made full use of it and would do it again. Full local menu as well as some island style takes on mainlander food. Whilst there over a few days I had the fish and chips, spam and rice, Portuguese sausage, and my wife had a breakfast platter with bacon and eggs (she's haole...what can I say? LOL). All fantastic and all in the $20 range. The guava juice here is pretty good and they have a good selection of beers. If you're looking for a sports place this has a huge display of TVs and even surf coverage as you would expect. Cool collection of tourist shirts but not in your face. You can see them on the wall and just buy them if you like them. Nobody pushed us for any purchases at all. Wait staff attentive and courteous. They bring out side sauces whenever you ask and quickly. Wait times right in line, maybe five or ten minutes max. Right across the street they have beach volleyball courts, and a pier. Also right next to Honolulu zoo if you want to check it out. ”
